FINE!

I was flipping through Boston Herald (brought back from Boston..uh..DUH..) and I was reading this article... maybe I should just type the whole thing out for you to read.. I find it simply stupid because... aiya.. you read and you'll understand..

Man Sues Church for Injury

KNOXVILLE - Tenn. A man says he was so consumed by the spirit of God that he fell and hit his head while worshipping. Now he wants Lakewind Church to pay USD2.5 Million for medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering.

Matt Lincoln says he is suing after the church's insurance company denied his claim for medical bills. The 57 year old has had two surgeries since the June 2007 injury but still feels pain in his back and legs.

He says he was asking God to have "a real experience" while praying.

Lincoln says he has fallen from the force of the Spirit before but has always been caught by someone standing behind him.

Lawyers for the church say other congregants saw him on the floor laughing after his fall. - Associated Press

1st of all...

I didn't like the way it was being framed in the papers. The words " so consumed" and "real experience" feels like its making a mockery out of the move of God.

2ndly,

It feels like this: Have you ever heard people saying "show me who God is and I will believe"? I say... they could probably be like this man.. in fact, this man is a christian for crying out loud! Anyways, they could one moment, experience God and the next moment turn their back on God and deny Him. Thing is this, I think, Jesus do walk on the face of this earth everyday and while He is God, He is also Man. So for all you know, He might have just walked pass you a couple of times in your life and you never knew it was Him!

What I am trying to say is... people do experience God but some just simply turn their faces away from Him. End of the day, it's your faith that counts my friends. Walking with "Information" alone doesn't bring about change. Walking in "Revelation" does.

Hmm.. what else are there?

Oh.. yea.. "Kids got injured in a Drive -By". KIDS! Who on earth would shoot kids?! Tsk.. terrible people.

anyways.. I'm going back to reading my papers... The Boston Globe.
