A Beautiful Friend

When darkness descended upon a shiny day
When the wind came and all was blown away
The love we shared slowly fades to grey
I walked this path alone when you turned away...

So I walked alone with a heavy heart
Thinking of the times we were never apart
and those laughter we shared on a shiny day
We danced upon the swings of joy everyday

Like a painter without an image in his head
Like a song without a meaning
Was it a love that was never meant to be made?
What could I ever sing?

So I cried out to You and You filled my heart
You sent me a beautiful friend
The sound of laughter returned to me
The swings of joy from my setbacks
I cried out to the beautiful friend
you lifted me high and cheered me up
I'm starting to be a different man

So now I say thank you to you
For filling up that void in my life
And I would sow back a seed of joy
Back into the life of my beautiful friend.
